Welcome to the Edgewood Regional Senior High School Class of 1998 post-reunion cancellation website.

I know most of us were saddened that the ten year reunion was cancelled. And, I'm sure we all appreciate the hard work and dedication that Shannon and the reunion committee put into the event. It truly is a pity that it didn't work out despite their best (and, I'm sure at times, agonizing) efforts.

But, the prior class website did bring a lot of us back together. We found out where our classmates were, who was still friends with who, who got married, who had kids and what everyone was up to. It seemed kind of stupid to let that come to such an abrupt end.

Despite my best efforts, a Touch of Class Reunions steadfastly refused to release the prior website with everyone's updated profiles. So, I created this new website in the hopes that you'll recreate your profile and keep your contact information updated so that whoever decides to plan the next reunion will hopefully have a significantly less arduous task of locating everyone. (This website is totally unrelated to and unaffiliated with their prior website. Therefore, you'll have to re-register, create a new password and re-upload your photos. Sorry.)

And now, I raise a toast to the reunion committee. Thank you for efforts. It was appreciated. Please spread the word that Edgewood Regional Senior High School Class of 1998's new home on the web is:
www.edgewood98.com.

Just wanted to thank everyone that came to the Dave & Busters's Get Together. It was great catching up on old times and seeing what everyone has accomplished over the last 10 years. I am sure there will be more things posted, so everyone check back soon. Also we have a group on Facebook to exchange messages.

Just a random thought that wouldn't go away.... It just dawned on me that very few people from our class left NJ. Any particular reason? Personally, I was thrilled to leave and explore. (Military wasn't my preferred method, but it worked). What were people's reasons for staying there or leaving?

Well, I was getting kind of tired of the cold winters. That, along with the poorly run state government, outrageous property taxes, equally outrageous car insurance rates, beach tags (in Florida, we can freely step onto a beach without some teenager demanding to see the badge on our swimsuits to be sure we paid our money to sit on a filthy stretch of sand with thousands of other people), traffic congestion, expensive housing, high cost of living, state income tax, trying to get into and out of Philadelphia during rush hour, endless SEPTA strikes (I worked in PA for a while) ... I could probably think of more.

What do I miss about New Jersey? 24-hour diners and Wawa coffee.

The only thing is none of us know how to vote down here. ;-)
